Warnings & Precautions
Charging
Avoid Overcharging: Do not exceed the maximum charge voltage of 16.8V. Overcharging can cause thermal runaway, leading to fire or explosion .
Temperature Monitoring: Charge only within the specified temperature range (0°C to +45°C). Charging below 0°C can lead to lithium plating and internal short circuits; charging above 45°C increases the risk of overheating and degradation .
Current Limits: Do not exceed the maximum continuous discharge current (2C or 11.6A) to prevent excessive heat generation and potential damage .
Temperature Management: Avoid discharging outside the recommended temperature range (-20°C to +60°C). Extreme cold reduces performance and capacity; extreme heat accelerates aging and increases safety risks .
Storage
Cool and Dry Environment: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, moisture, and heat sources. The ideal storage temperature is between -20°C to +45°C .
Regular Checks: If stored for very long periods, check the voltage every 3-6 months and recharge if it drops near the cut-off voltage.
